Between 2021 and 2024, 1,432 artists from 95 countries participated in a global call to artistic action targeting climate change. Their challenge: create and submit digital artwork within just 48 hours, depicting a hopeful future amidst climate challenges or emphasizing the urgent need for change. The exhibit 'Fever' featured the work of 50 finalists from this challenge.

In his paintings, Richard Bruce’s intention is keenly observed in the effulgent process of paint, water, and air. Bruce continually re-enters the field refining his strokes and patterns as they morph and emerge throughout multi-stage drying processes.

Keenly aware of the magnificence in the natural world and the fragility of living things, multimedia artist Lois Guarino spent her life participating in, and deeply observing, the inherent beauty and complexity of relationships—past and present, and between animals, people, objects, dreams, and other worlds.

Carianne Mack Garside paints outdoors, immersed in wilderness. Her work is informed by the fragile changing structures that coexist in the natural world. In her expansive open-air studio, meaning and metaphor co-join as she captures animated moments with water, paint, and brush.

Through visual record-keeping, these contemporary fiber artists stitch stories both personal and societal into powerful works of fine art. The exhibition connected 14 artists through story, situation, society, and one common thread – now more than ever, women must #DoPowerDifferently.
