Omega Cancellation and Refund Policies

The financial repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic are unlike anything this country has experienced in recent memory, and Omega has been severely impacted.

Our commitment to protect the well-being of our participants, staff, teachers, and the larger community, as well as the need to adhere to New York’s phased approach and timeline for re-opening businesses, has left us no choice but to close the Rhinebeck campus for 2020.

As a nonprofit, Omega’s financial position is extremely vulnerable. This painful decision has significant consequences for our ability to earn revenue, which creates a multi-million dollar deficit for our organization, and impedes our capacity to give immediate full cash refunds. For this we are truly sorry.

However, we are committed to honoring the financial commitment you made and are working to spread very limited resources to cover as many people as possible by offering the following options:

  1. Full Credit Plus 30% Additional Credit: We can hold your balance as a credit, and on top of that we will add a 30% value to your balance. It can be applied to 2021 program tuition and housing or for a visit to the Omega Wellness Center. Or if you would like to begin using the credit sooner, it can also be used for online learning. There is no expiration on this credit.
  2. Partial or Full Philanthropic Donation:If you are able to consider donating a portion, or all of your balance, to help Omega overcome the extreme financial challenge created by the pandemic, it would be greatly appreciated. As a nonprofit, all donations are tax deductible.
  3. Reimbursement Plan Over Time: If neither of the options above are possible, our Registration Team can be reached at 800-944-1001 to discuss a reimbursement plan over time.
