Aaron Warner

Aaron Warner is a self-taught harp player whose interests lie in the potential healing capabilities of the sonic forms that he is able to produce with the harp. Whether it’s for a premature baby or an elderly person in hospice, almost all people have a distinct reaction to the harp. He has used the harp as an opportunity to explore what it means to be connected to your community in a way that is both fulfilling and profitable. The harp is also a very good tool for becoming more spatially aware. The reverberating echoes that change with each location in addition to the ambient noise of the area transforms the harp into something different each time.

The harp has been a very personal journey for Aaron in the past five years. Self-taught and improvisational, experimental yet traditional, open to the ebb and flow of life and its many challenges and rewards, the harp has always provided comfort and stability.
