Anne Bloomfield is the program manager for the Applied Farmscape Ecology Program at the Hudson Valley Farm Hub, where she has worked since 2015. In this role, she leads collaborative research and outreach initiatives that explore the interactions between farming and wild nature, focusing on how on-farm habitat conservation or creation can support regional biodiversity and contribute to farm production.

Anne's work primarily centers on bird conservation, particularly the year-round habitat use of birds in agricultural landscapes. She enjoys teaching about birds and finding effective solutions for landowners where food production and wildlife conservation intersect. Outside of work, Anne enjoys growing and preserving food, fishing, hunting, and raising chickens.
