Danielle Rubio is a somatic trauma practitioner, nervous system educator, mindfulness teacher, and creator of the SomaLumos Method™, an integrative approach to healing that brings together modern nervous system science, somatic practice, movement, and Eastern contemplative wisdom.
With more than 16 years of experience in the healing arts, Danielle’s work explores the intersection of the body, subconscious patterning, trauma, and human transformation. Her approach draws from somatic trauma work, nervous system regulation, movement therapeutics, mindfulness, and embodied ritual to help people access patterns that intellectual understanding alone may not reach.
Her work is also deeply informed by lived experience. Following a traumatic birth that led to post-traumatic stress, severe insomnia, and anxiety, Danielle’s own healing became an immersive exploration of the nervous system, body, and mind. That experience ultimately shaped the work she teaches today and her belief in the human capacity for profound change.
Through retreats, workshops, group programs, and private coaching, Danielle creates experiential spaces where people can explore the deeper layers of themselves, reconnect with their innate vitality, and cultivate greater freedom, presence, and self-trust.
