Don Waisanen is a “pracademic” who’s always striving to help others level up their understandings and practices for leadership and communication. Don is a professor at Baruch College and City University of New York, an adjunct at Columbia University and New York University, and the founder of Communication Upward, which provides workshops/coaching for professional development and expert facilitation for retreats and meetings. Don has authored seven books, including Improv for Democracy and Leadership Standpoints, and received a doctorate in communication from the University of Southern California. He’s a tennis fanatic and has been performing improv comedy for close to three decades.
