Jahnavi Harrison

Jahnavi Harrison is a musician, writer, and artist whose work is inspired by the tradition of bhakti yoga. For 15 years, she has offered her voice and violin playing in the performance of sacred music and call-and-response mantra chant (kirtan). Her sound encompasses rich influences of East and West, and aims to offer an experience which truly nourishes the spirit. She released her debut album, Like a River to the Sea in July 2015, featured on the Grammy nominated Bhakti Without Borders charity album, and recently released an EP with Willow Smith called “RISE.”  Jahnavi presents regularly for BBC Radio 2’s Pause for Thought and has been a resident artist and affiliate of the Bhakti Center in Manhattan since 2018.
