Kyra Kristof is founder of Forest Kitchen, a 9-year art project arcing toward a deeply relational Forest Feast on the fall equinox of 2030. Forest Kitchen is growing a Forest Pantry, stretching culinary curiosity in pop-up kitchens, and cooking up stories of forested places as they are and are becoming.

Kyra's life is full of projects at the confluence of art and social change. Questions singing her awake include: How can I reweave my sensing self into the macrobiome of the place I inhabit? What conversations unfold with landscapes when we're in kinship relationship with the more than human world? How can animism in a kinship paradigm be legible in modern food systems? How can art and play offer nervous systems a pathway into the unknown and unknowable? Her creative home is with the reality rearchitecture firm, Imaginal Studio.
