Lenett Partlow-Myrick

Visual artist, poet-writer, teacher, and spiritual activist Lenett Partlow-Myrick, aka Mama Nef, makes things that reflect nature and her experiences as an African-descendant woman in America. Her poetry appears in several anthologies, including When Divas Laugh and Poetry Baltimore, and her artworks are exhibited in solo and group shows, most recently at Hamilton Gallery.

Lenett is the subject of the award-winning documentary Mbele Ache, the CSN-TV special “Voices of Our Past,” and was honored in 2022 for her activism by the AFRO American News. She teaches literature and creates sacred space installations while pursuing her doctoral degree in transdisciplinary leadership, creativity, and sustainability.
