Linda Facci is the founder and creative force behind Facci Designs. She is a Hudson Valley-based multidisciplinary artist, designer, and teacher whose work is rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to the natural world.
A graphic designer by training and a maker by nature, Linda has spent more than 30 years creating across a wide range of disciplines, from retail environments and visual merchandising to fiber art, jewelry, and sculpture. She discovered needle felting in 2014 and turned a creative hobby into Facci’s felted friends, creating remarkably detailed miniature felted dogs from photographs. Her work quickly gained a following and led her to pursue art-making full time.
Today, Linda’s practice continues to evolve. She works with fiber, embroidery, metal clay, wire, fabric, and found natural materials, always looking for unexpected ways to combine traditional techniques with contemporary design.
Her branch weaving is a particularly personal expression of this approach. Inspired by the woods and landscapes surrounding her Hudson Valley home, Linda collects branches for their unique shapes, curves, textures, and character, transforming each one into a natural loom. She weaves vibrant fibers, yarns, fabrics, and other materials through and around the branches, creating sculptural works that celebrate the relationship between nature and handmade art.
Linda teaches workshops that invite students to slow down, experiment, and discover their own creative voice. Whether working with fiber, metal, or materials gathered from the natural world, her philosophy is simple: make something with your hands, stay curious, and see where the process takes you.
