Nina Hersher is a globally recognized thought leader and speaker at the intersection of well-being and digital transformation. She holds a master’s in social work specializing in digital culture and program development and is the founder of the Digital Resilience Lab.
A leader in addressing modern stress and digital overload, Nina cofounded the Digital Wellness Institute, where she helped create the field’s first nationally accredited Certified Digital Wellness Educator program in partnership with the Emmy Award-winning documentary The Social Dilemma. She also codeveloped the Digital Flourishing® framework, the first scientifically validated model for measuring well-being in the digital era.
Nina is the cofounder of Global Digital Wellness Day, an annual initiative reaching more than 17 million people across 64 countries, featuring participation from mental health leaders, including the United States Surgeon General. Her work has been featured in Forbes, the Stanford Social Innovation Review, Al Jazeera, and Voice of America.
Her recent speaking engagements include Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, the King Abdulaziz Center, and organizations such as McKesson, Spotify, and Dolby. She also serves on advisory boards and scientific committees for leading mental health initiatives and was recently asked to contribute to the Workplace Wellbeing Initiative at the Global Wellness Institute.
