Reggie Hubbard is the founder/chief serving officer of Active Peace LLC. Through Active Peace, he offers tools and techniques to help others nurture peace of mind, creativity, equanimity in spirit, and physical health–encouraging well-being to be foundational rather than an afterthought.

Reggie began his contemplative practices under extreme professional distress, adopting them as a discipline rather than a hobby. These practices have also helped him navigate complicated emotions (anger, grief, disappointment) to find and nurture peace of mind and ease of spirit as a Black man in the world. This is why he now seeks to share them widely for the well-being of all as a teacher, healer, and wisdom steward.

He has studied with leading teachers in yogic, meditative, and dharmic disciplines while also remembering that the best teacher is an eternal student. He is a graduate of the MMTCP (Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program) 2023 cohort offered by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.

Reggie’s life work bridges the intersection of bringing peace and balance to activists, guiding the spiritual community toward being more engaged citizens, and enhancing the well-being of everyone. He has been a featured teacher and thought leader on civic engagement, new consciousness, and social justice for leading publications, podcasts and platforms including: Be Here Now Network, Kripalu, Mind and Life Institute, Sedona Yoga Festival, SoundsTrue Foundation, Upaya Zen Center, Wellbeing Project, Wanderlust, and Yoga Journal
