Rica Bryan is the farm team manager and a worker/owner at Rock Steady Farm, a queer- and trans-led multiracial worker cooperative. They have been working at the intersection of local foodways, equity, and farming for more than a decade and a half. Prior to joining the team at Rock Steady Farm, they were involved in a number of food access-related programs, including GrowNYC Learn It, Grow It, Eat It Program, NYC Department of Health Farmers Markets for Kids, and have also supported community wellness and urban agriculture programs at Community Access, a supportive housing nonprofit in New York City. 

Rica is a graduate of Farm School NYC. Outside of their current work with Rock Steady Farm, they are involved with Resource Generation, the Hudson Valley Farmer Housing Working Group, and are deeply committed to a land partnership with Ayni Herb Farm.
