Tim Jobe is cofounder of Natural Lifemanship, with more than 50 years of training horses and four decades of partnering horses and humans to promote healing and healthy relationships. His work began in 1986 at West Texas Boys Ranch in San Angelo, Texas. Working alongside at-risk youth, Tim found that horses would make the right choices because they valued the relationship, not out of submission or fear of consequences. The ranch staff wanted that same quality for the kids they were raising: the ability to make good choices out of care for relationships. That insight became Natural Lifemanship, a model built on principles that transfer seamlessly between relationships with horses and relationships with people.

A founding board member of Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA), Tim has cofacilitated thousands of equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning sessions with clients who have trauma histories. In 2010, he and his wife, Bettina Shultz-Jobe, founded the Natural Lifemanship Institute on the principles of connected relationships: with self, with others, with horses and other animals, with our Creator, and with the natural world.

Today, Tim and the NL team support practitioners around the world in bringing these principles into their own lives and practices, transforming the lives of their clients as a result.
