Women in Healing Arts Residency

2026 Invitation to Apply

At a Glance

For nearly five decades, Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, a lifelong learning nonprofit organization, has embraced the arts as a key catalyst for personal growth, community connection, and cultural transformation and has welcomed generations of creatives to its campus.

Thanks to a generous grant from Towanda Foundation, matched by the Women Moving Millions Art Catalyst Matching Fund, Omega is excited to announce the first Women in Healing Arts Residency. The Residency will reflect the Catalyst Fund’s dedication to projects at the intersection of art, gender equality, and democracy.

This program is a direct investment in emerging and mid-career visual artists who identify as women—providing dedicated time, financial support, and visibility to help expand their creative practice and deepen their impact. By prioritizing rest, reflection, artistic exploration, and long-term growth, the residency nurtures artistic development while advancing Omega’s mission of personal transformation, well-being, and social healing.
