The writing process can be exhilarating and challenging, but it doesn't have to be tortured—and neither do you. In this immersive 5-day workshop, we dispel the misconception of the "tortured writer."
It's time to create a new story for us as writers, and it starts with self-compassion and rewilding the writer within you. Join Heather Doyle Fraser and learn to cultivate a deeper relationship with yourself, your content, your reader, and the natural world.
Through a combination of hands-on writing activities, lecture, group discussion, and exploration of other creative modalities, such as doodling and drawing, gentle movement, music, and the natural world, you:
- Identify who you need to be to start writing, keep writing, and ultimately complete your book or writing project
- Examine and explore your ideal reader
- Develop a reservoir of compassionate practices that supports you and your voice
- Create a writing plan that becomes your best friend and guiding support throughout the writing and revision process of your project
Whether there's a book in your heart, a draft that's stuck, or a desire to write more deeply, this workshop meets you where you are.
