Drawing on yoga, functional fitness, and fascia, its goal is to transform your daily movements and empower you to relieve pain and tension, increase your flexibility and mobility, and develop resilience and elasticity.
Join Pain-Free Movement specialist Pooja Virani to gain a deeper understanding of your body, how your day-to-day habits affect your ability to move with ease, and how your postural patterns may contribute to aches, injury, or tightness.
Yoga teachers learn techniques to evaluate students and identify pain patterns, as well as methods of sequencing asana and pranayama to target muscle imbalances and weaknesses. Both the lower body (hips, hamstrings, and lower back) and the upper body (neck, shoulders, and upper back) are addressed.
Presentations that make anatomy accessible and fun are supplemented with daily movement practices to elevate your strength, self-confidence, and enjoyment of your body. Emphasis is placed on adapting exercises to your unique shape and lifestyle and incorporating Pain-Free Movement techniques into your daily life.
