Pooja Virani stretching on a yoga mat

Relieve your pain and transform your daily movements through simple Pain-Free Movement techniques with Pooja Virani.

Pooja Virani shares three stretches for your glutes to save your back and knees.

Pain-Free Movement is an approach to moving with more freedom and joy in your body. Drawing on yoga, functional fitness, and fascia, its goal is to transform your daily movements and empower you to relieve pain and tension, increase your flexibility and mobility, and develop resilience and elasticity.

Join Pain-Free Movement specialist Pooja Virani to gain a deeper understanding of your body, how your day-to-day habits affect your ability to move with ease, and how your postural patterns may contribute to aches, injury, or tightness.

Presentations that make anatomy accessible and fun will be supplemented with daily movement practices to elevate your strength, self-confidence, and enjoyment of your body. Emphasis is placed on adapting exercises to your unique shape and lifestyle and incorporating Pain-Free Movement techniques into your daily life.

Pooja's daily movement practice may include:

  • Functional yoga
  • Myofascial release
  • Joint mobilizations
  • Yin yoga
  • Partner yoga
  • Dance
  • Games!

Improve your strength and flexibility in this all-levels program, and avoid future injury by addressing muscular weaknesses and postural imbalances that stem from daily living.

Everyone is welcome, including beginners, yoga teachers, and athletes alike. Pose adaptations will be offered. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other folks experiencing marginalization are welcome and encouraged to attend. Come with an open heart and curious mind, ready to accept your body’s gifts and unique abilities.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available for BIPOC students. Please contact registration at 877.944.2002 to apply, as spots fill quickly.
