Nature's rhythms ebb and flow—day and night, the changing seasons—reflecting the balance of yin and yang, a Daoist principle at the heart of qigong. Attention to these natural cycles guides us toward balance and connection to the world around us.
Qigong, often referred to as "meditation in motion," integrates body movement, breathing exercises, and meditation. Led by Bethany Ryker, you:
- Explore the Five Elements (water, wood, fire, earth, and metal)
- Discover how these energies awaken the many parts of ourselves, from wild to tranquil
- Learn to craft a routine attuned to the time of day, season, and your physical and emotional state
Take with you a meaningful, year-round qigong practice, with tools to bring balance into any setting with a deep sense of connection to yourself and nature.
This workshop includes both indoor and outdoor settings. Beginners and those looking to deepen their practice are welcome.
