Psychedelic compounds have a rich and fascinating history of use in spiritual and health-care settings. Recent advances in clinical research indicate that these medicines may soon be available to the public. Providers are increasingly called upon to help clients integrate meaningful psychedelic experiences into their daily lives.
This training, designed for licensed clinicians and health-care providers, is led by psychologists Elizabeth Nielson and Ingmar Gorman, cofounders of Fluence. As a group of researchers and psychotherapists with direct experience in psychedelic clinical trials, Fluence's mission is to educate the health-care community about psychedelic science and equip practitioners with relevant clinical skills.
Through experiential learning, role-plays, self-reflection, and group discussions, you learn how to translate current psychedelic research into actionable practice, including how to work with patients who have a history of psychedelic use or have expressed an interest in using psychedelics.
