Use songwriting as a tool for self-discovery in this workshop for songwriters with Jimmie Dale Gilmore.

Watch Texas singer/songwriter Jimmie Dale Gilmore perform, "The Banks of the Colorado"—a song written for his wife.

This workshop for beginning and advanced songwriters focuses on songwriting as a tool for self-discovery. While Jimmie Dale Gilmore creates an atmosphere of interaction and collaboration, the emphasis is on providing perspectives and motivation for ongoing individual creativity.

The group explores what it is that makes songs such an essential and potent part of human communication, in an environment where everyone can flourish. A small amount of time is given to discussion of the business aspect of songwriting.

Enrollment is limited for this program; register early.
