Terry Dunn in a Tai Chi practice

Learn two rare authentic Taoist monastic qigong systems from Master Terry Dunn: Taoist Elixir Method and Flying Phoenix Qigong.

Enjoy a 15-minute qigong practice with Terence Dunn.

This rare experience combines two extraordinary systems of Taoist Yoga—creating a unique qigong experience. For the first time, Master Terry Dunn teaches two authentic Taoist monastic systems of qigong together: the Emei Mountain Flying Phoenix Qigong (Fei Feng San Gung) and Taoist Elixir Method (Tan Tan Pai) Basic 31 Meditations system.

Sifu Dunn has combined the two systems because of an incredible accelerative potentiation that he discovered the Basic 31 Meditations system (TTP-31) has on Flying Phoenix Qigong's cultivation.

The workshop concentrates primarily on the Flying Phoenix Heavenly Healing Qi Meditations, a healing qigong system created in 1644 at Emei Mountain in China’s Xichuan province by a legendary Taoist monk, Feng Dao Deh. Flying Phoenix Qigong is fast-acting, imparting energizing and rejuvenating effects that are repeatable, verifiable, and visible.

Flying Phoenix Qigong is said to activate the body's self-healing faculties by bringing all of the organ functions under the regulation of the subconscious mind. Its restorative effects are cumulative with ongoing practice, cultivating a “reserve” of the distinctive Flying Phoenix Healing Qi, which has an "intelligence" of its own. This qigong is an ideal practice for professional holistic healers in any modality.

Each of the 32 healing meditations in the Flying Phoenix Qigong system utilizes a simple, elegant, easy-to-do, and powerful yogic methodology that's based solely on two mind-body functions:

  • A classical qigong posture or posture plus simple natural movement patterns done repeatedly
  • An esoteric breath-control formula for each of the 32 meditations that consists of a sequence of "X-percentage exhalations"” done with a full breath taken in between

The second practice, Tao Tan Pai (“Taoist Elixir Method”) is an authentic ancient Taoist monastic system of martial, yogic, healing, and spiritual art created 600 years prior to Flying Phoenix Qigong. Taoist Elixir Method is composed of six levels of increasingly powerful and sublime internal energy (qi) cultivation–and TTP-31 Basic Meditations is the first of these six levels. According to Master Dunn, the 30-minute practice of the Tao Tan Pai 31 Basic Meditations serves as a superb foundational catalyst that enhances the healing effects of Emei Mountain Flying Phoenix Qigong.

The health benefits of Tao Tan Pai 31 Meditations include improved circulation, respiration, digestion, metabolism, posture, balance, flexibility, neuromuscular coordination, sound and restful sleep, and effective management of stress. Its practice cultivates and consciously circulates tangible qi for rejuvenation by coordinating eyes, mind, movement, and breath according to its unique yogic methodology (alchemic formula).

Return home with profound self-awareness and an experience of qigong-mediated self-healing, including improved circulation, respiration, digestion, metabolism, posture, balance, flexibility, neuromuscular coordination, and restful sleep.

Please Note: The training is easy to learn and safe for all ages.

More Information

Terence Dunn has practiced Taoist Elixir Method for 51 years and Flying Phoenix Qigong for 34 years. Because Terence is the sole living (7th generation) preserver of Flying Phoenix Qigong (as his teacher Grandmaster Doo Wai retired in 2010), there is no other qigong master or school in the world that can combine Taoist Elixir Method Qigong with Flying Phoenix Qigong.
