Adriana Valenzuela is the Focal Point for Education and Youth at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat in Bonn, Germany.
Within the Global Climate Action (GCA) team, she leads the Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) program related to climate education, training, public awareness, public participation, public access to information, international cooperation, and youth empowerment. Valenzuela has extensive experience working within the UN system, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and youth organizations on education sustainable development.
She acted as a lead negotiator at the climate change conferences on issues related to education and served as Chair of the Group of 77 and China.
