Aly Waibel, PhD, is a senior certified teacher of Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) and program director for online education and CCT Teacher Training at Compassion Institute. She offers meditation and compassion teacher programs in central Oregon and beyond.
Waibel completed her doctorate in teaching, learning and sociocultural studies at the University of Arizona, College of Education. Areas of focus include adult education, active learning, somatic learning, transformational and lifelong learning. Her dissertation research was the first purely qualitative study of Compassion Cultivation Training, titled Living What the Heart Knows: Learners’ Perceptions of Compassion Cultivation Training.
