Demarra Gardner

Demarra Gardner, MA, LPC, ACC, is a coach, entrepreneur, public speaker, and organizational development consultant with a deep passion to facilitate transformation in individuals and institutions.

After attending a 5-day of collective training by Leadership that Works, Gardner was hooked on coaching. “With a background in clinical mental health and consulting," she says, "I felt that coaching enhanced the knowledge and skills I already possessed which enabled me to do deeper work with my individual and organizational clients.”

Gardner continues to bring those coaching skills to her work as an organizational development consultant. Most recently, she engaged with several members of the Battle Creek community to do coaching planning work with the goal of sustaining and growing coaching in the greater Battle Creek region.

Being able to provide her clients with the tools they need to be successful while championing for them has been one of her greatest pleasures, especially when working with youth. Demarra has enjoyed working with young people and their families since she was teen and, in recent years, has helped implement after-school and summer programs for youth who may not otherwise have access to it.

Demarra Gardner is a Certified Professional Coach through Leadership that Works and holds a Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in family life education from Spring Arbor University. When she’s not working, Demarra Gardner is exploring the world: she’s already been to 4 continents, 22 countries, and 25 states thus far, with dreams to spend time in every continent in the next 10 years.
