Hillary Keeney, PhD, is an author, scholar, and teacher of creative transformation and improvisational movement. Cofounder and president of the Keeney Institute for Healing, she has been a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Mexico and Senior Research Fellow at the University of Louisiana.

Keeney presently serves as associate editor of the journal, Dance, Movement, and Spiritualities. Her most recent books (coauthored with Bradford Keeney) include Circular Therapeutics, Creative Therapeutic Technique, and Seiki Jutsu, which was named one of the “Best Spiritual Books of 2014” by Spirituality and Practice.
