Jan Phillips

Jan Phillips is an evolutionary artist, award-winning author, and dynamic speaker. She has performed with Pete Seeger, taught with Jane Goodall, and worked with Mother Teresa.

Known for her multimedia presentations, and for using the arts to keep the brain and heart connected, Phillips connects the dots between creativity, spirituality, and inspired action. She creates a unique multi-sensory experience, weaving humor, storytelling, imagery, and music to ignite insights for life-changing action.

Blending East and West, art and activism, and reflection and ritual, Phillips’ presentations provoke original thinking and evolutionary action. She has taught in more than 25 countries and her work has appeared in the New York Times, Ms., Newsday, People, Christian Science Monitor, New Age Journal, National Catholic Reporter, and Utne Reader.

Phillips has written nine books, including Finding the On-Ramp to Your Spiritual Path, Evolutionary Creativity, and Divining the Body. She has also released three CDs of original music and several DVDs to inspire creativity.
