Jeff Warren is a writer and a meditation teacher. He is the coauthor, along with Dan Harris and Carlye Adler, of Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics, author of The Head Trip, and cohost of the Mind Bod Adventure Pod. Jeff's Do Nothing Project streams free every Sunday night; his guided meditations reach millions of people through the Happier and Calm apps, as well as through his Home Base with Jeff online community of continual practice and support.

Jeff’s specialties as a meditation guide—i.e., those things he has the most personal experience with—are obsessive overthinking, dysregulated mood swings, emphatic overwhelm, and attentional hijacking. Also: parenting neurodivergent kids, extreme states of mystical radness, and all-purpose existential hilarity. For all these reasons, his favorite meditative principle is equanimity. He can talk forever about equanimity—and frequently does—thus strategically inducing sleepiness in all who accidentally listen to him.

Jeff’s mission is to empower people to care for their mental and spiritual health, through the realistic and often joyful exploration of meditation and related insight practices. He is proudly ADHD and bipolar, and champions a neurodivergent outlook on life, community, and practice. He is also passionate about the democratization of mental health, and spends a lot of time encouraging regular mortals to share practice, peer-to-peer, in small friend and work groups.
