Jillian Pransky

Jillian Pransky is an international presenter, mindfulness and yoga teacher, and author of The Power of the Pause: 90 Seconds to Calm, Reset, and Reconnect. For more than 30 years, Jillian has been guiding students into practices of conscious relaxation, embodied mindfulness, and compassionate presence.

Her teaching is rooted in both ancient wisdom and modern science, weaving together yoga, restorative movement, mindfulness, and somatic awareness. Through her signature method, LARLAR™, Jillian offers a practical framework for integrating pausing and deep listening into everyday life—helping people reduce stress, release tension, and create new ways of meeting challenges with clarity and care.

Jillian has taught at renowned retreat centers, including Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Esalen Institute, Blue Spirit Costa Rica, and Omega Institute, as well as at national conferences and corporate settings. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, O: The Oprah Magazine, Yoga Journal, Prevention, and many other outlets.

Passionate about making mindful practices accessible, Jillian invites students to experience pausing as a radical act of love—for themselves and for others. With warmth, wisdom, and humor, she helps people slow down, reconnect, and discover the spaciousness that leads to healing and deeper connection.

She is also the author of Deep Listening: A Healing Practice to Calm Your Body, Clear Your Mind, and Open Your Heart—now in its third printing.
