Ken Cohen is a renowned grandmaster of qigong and tai chi with nearly 50 years of experience. A former collaborator with Alan Watts, Cohen is the author of The Way of Qigong, various works in the Chinese language, and more than 200 journal articles on spirituality and health.
A pioneer in the dialogue between ancient wisdom and modern science, Cohen was the first person to lecture about qigong in North American medical schools. His work has been sponsored by the American Cancer Society, the Mayo Clinic, Health Canada, and numerous universities.
In 2003, Ken Cohen won the Alyce and Elmer Green Award for Innovation and Lifetime Achievement in energy medicine. In high demand as a keynote speaker and workshop leader, he lives at 9,000 feet elevation in the Indian Peaks Wilderness of Colorado where, as he puts it, “just breathing is qigong!”
