Lama Tsultrim Yeshe

Lama Tsultrim Yeshe (John Samuelson) has been a student of Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, abbot of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, Woodstock, New York, since 1989.

He completed the first traditional Tibetan Buddhist three-year retreat held at Karme Ling in Delhi, New York, led by Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, and took monastic vows in 1994.

Lama Yeshe is a retired prison chaplain and former sociology teacher at the university level. He is especially known for workshops in which participants use Tibetan Buddhist practices to explore the nature of forgiveness and to learn how to heal old wounds. He guides participants with an approachable and open style.

He currently lives in Wisconsin and teaches at Buddhist and retreat centers throughout North America.
