Lisa Flook

Lisa Flook completed her PhD in clinical psychology at UCLA and is a scientist at the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research has investigated the negative consequences of academic and interpersonal stress on children and adolescents.

Lisa's current research focuses on early intervention and prevention to mitigate the negative effects of stress and promote self-regulation and prosocial skills development. Her work with preschool and elementary school students and teachers, parents, and pre-service teachers aims to explore effective and sustainable ways of introducing mindfulness-based practices in school and community settings and to assess their effects through research.
