Lynne Staropoli Boucher

Lynne Staropoli Boucher, RYT (she/her) serves as chair of the board of directors for the national Yoga Service Collective and is deeply dedicated to integrating yoga and social justice. An interfaith minister by training, Lynne’s yoga service work has included yoga with refugees, the elderly, and urban youth. She is committed to her ongoing partnership with the youth organizers and community leaders at Teen Empowerment, who have taught her endless lessons about building community and working for justice.

Lynne also works as a full-time yoga teacher and coach in Rochester, New York, specializing in outdoor yoga, yoga for athletes, paddleboard yoga, and acro yoga. Her yoga project is called Yoga Revolution.

During her 20-year career at Nazareth College, Lynne developed a nationally award-winning yoga program and cofounded the regional Rochester Yoga Service Network with a team of justice-minded yoga teachers and college students. She is overwhelmingly grateful to receive and share the gifts of yoga, especially with those who have not yet had access to its healing power.
