Marianne E. Krasny, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Natural Resources and director of the Civic Ecology Lab at Cornell University.
Her recent books include Civic Ecology: Adaptation and Transformation from the Ground Up (with Keith Tidball), Urban Environmental Education Review (with Alex Russ), and Grassroots to Global: Broader Impacts of Civic Ecology.
Krasny has served as director of EECapacity, the Environmental Protection Agency's National Environmental Education Training Program, and of the Garden Mosaics community gardening intergenerational education program.
She is a Public Voices Fellow with The Op-Ed Project and an International Fellow of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry.
