Megan Meyhew Bergman

Megan Mayhew Bergman is director of special programs at Bennington College, where she helps oversee the Robert Frost House and teaches in the literature department. She writes for the Paris Review and contributes literary criticism to the Washington Post and New York Times.

Her work has been translated into German, Italian, and Dutch, and she has received numerous fellowships and awards. Her stories have been featured on NPR's Selected Shorts and in Best American Short Stories 2011 and 2015. 

Bergman's first story collection, Birds of a Lesser Paradise, was a Barnes and Noble Discover pick, Indie Next selection, and one of Huffington Post's Best Books of 2012. Almost Famous Women also was an Indie Next selection.
