Nina Gutin, PhD, is a clinical psychologist in Pasadena, California. She conducts trainings in suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention, is on the advisory board for the Los Angeles (Didi Hirsch) Suicide Prevention Center, and facilitates their “Survivors after Suicide” groups.

Gutin is a member of the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health’s Suicide Prevention Network and is cochair of the Clinician-Survivor‘s Task Force at the American Association of Suicidology. Her family foundation, The Suicide Prevention Partnership, which was founded after the loss of her brother to suicide in 1995, collaborates with a variety of organizations that aim to promote comprehensive community-based responses to the needs for suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention.
