Norma Bowe, PhD, is a registered nurse and a tenured professor at Kean University. She spent two decades working in emergency rooms, intensive care, and psychiatric wards before coming to Kean University, where she has taught classes on mental health, nursing, and public health. She has been honored with an Outstanding Human Rights Educator Award from Kean’s Human Rights Institute.
