Parmatma Khalsa

We are saddened by the loss of Parmatma Khalsa, who passed away in November 2019.

Parmatma Khalsa taught children since 1999, when he began working as a guide at an overnight summer camp in the mountains of New Mexico. After several years as a counselor, he became assistant director of the camp, where he worked for the next 12 years. He also spent two years teaching at an American Sikh boarding school in India, where he taught high school English and yoga, and coached basketball. After hours, Parmatma was caretaker for the junior boys (grades 3-5), helping to create a cozy and nurturing environment for them in which to grow.
