Rachel Allen, is a certified music practitioner, sound healer, Reiki Master, and a registered yoga teacher who teaches from a trauma-informed/social justice framework. She has over 20 years of experience of working with therapeutic music, drumming, sound healing, and yoga in a wide variety of community-based settings.

Rachel teaches creative movement as adjunct faculty at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania, and serves as faculty on Jim Donovan’s Rhythm Renewal and Revival Retreats.

She is a graduate of the Music for Healing and Transition Program (MHTP), an international training and certification program and served on MHTP’s executive board of directors for nine years. She works in hospice as a certified music practitioner, providing live music bedside with voice and harp. 

A Reiki Level 3 Practitioner and a teaching Reiki Master through the Usui System of Natural Healing in accordance with the Essential Reiki tradition, she has created a Reiki training focused on self-care for clinical staff.
