Rahm Rechtschaffen designs and builds houses and furniture in Woodstock, New York. He has a master’s degree in architecture and has been constructing all sorts of things since he was a little kid. As a woodworker and furniture maker, he enjoys the process of constructing as much as the process of designing. Integrating design with building, he believes, rather than keeping them separate processes, produces better results for the client, in addition to being more fulfilling for the practitioner.
As an architect who believes in promoting and creating positive change, he also has strong feelings about architectural responsibility—socially, culturally, and environmentally.
