Robin Shornstein has been the librarian at the Woodstock Day School for 23 years, teaching classes for students in nursery school through 12th grade. Shornstein is also the faculty advisor for the middle school and upper school LGBTQ+ Clubs and the co-facilitator of the WDS diversity task force. Last year she partnered with the WDS STEM coordinator to bring the 2019 Drawdown Ecochallenge to the school. Together they formed a Drawdown book club with 23 teachers and led the school to a first-place finishin in the Drawdown Ecochallenge. Shorenstein has also taken large groups of students to local climate strike demonstrations and continues to work on climate change initiatives at the Woodstock Day School.
