Sally Helgesen

Sally Helgesen has led women’s leadership programs for over 25 years as a speaker and consultant.

She has helped women in corporations, partnership firms, universities, and associations around the world to gain a more powerful understanding of how to use their skills to maximum advantage. Sally has consulted with UNDP on building more inclusive offices in Africa and Asia, led seminars at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Smith College, and been visiting scholar at Northwestern University, U- Nordic, Stockholm and the Lauriston Institute, Melbourne.

Sally is a contributing editor and monthly columnist for Strategy+Business magazine and a member of The Learning Network and the International Women’s Forum. As the author of six books, her best-selling The Female Advantage: Women's Ways of Leadership has been continuously in print since 1990 and translated into 12 languages. The Web of Inclusion: A New Architecture for Building Great Organizations was cited in The Wall Street Journal as one of the best books on leadership of all time and is credited with bringing the language of inclusion into business. Most recently The Female Vision: Women’s Real Power at Work, explores how women’s strategic insights can strengthen their careers and benefit their organizations.
