Scott Stabile is the author of the books Big Love: The Power of Living With a Wide Open Heart, Just Love, Iris, and the Li’l Pet Hospital series, as well as the three-part foodie story collection Brooklyn Bites. His inspirational social media posts and videos have attracted a huge and devoted online following, including over 350,000 Facebook fans.
Stabile is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and maintains a blog on his website. He also wrote the full-length animated feature film The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure with an all-star cast including Jaime Pressly, Cloris Leachman, and Christopher Lloyd.
After the shooting death of his parents at age 14, the overdose death of his brother nine years later, and a great deal of shame surrounding his homosexuality, Stabile decided to stop keeping his pain and his true identity a secret from the world. Since then, he has made it his life’s mission to spread as much love as possible. Stabile believes that love is the base note for everything good, including compassion, forgiveness, kindness, and authenticity.
Stabile lives in Michigan with his partner and conducts personal empowerment workshops around the world.
