The Juggernauts

The Juggernauts are a mantra music collective built on the longtime friendship and collaboration of Gaura Vani and Visvambhar. Both artists have performed and traveled across the globe since their youth and have become a defining force in the mantra music movement in the Western world. Their music features infectious grooves, strong vocal harmonies, exotic instruments, and world-rhythm.

Named after the epic, million-man ritual of the Jagannath Chariot festival in Puri, India, the Juggernauts create music that is a celebration of the overwhelming power of love to conquer any obstacle in its path. They travel often to Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia performing regularly at festivals like Burning Man, Lollapalooza, Bhakti Fest, Wanderlust, and eclectic venues including universities, theatres, temples, private homes, and yoga studios.

Influences include mantra, reggae, Indian classical, alternative rock, Middle Eastern, and Brazilian bossa nova. Their other celebrated ensembles include The Hanumen, The Mayapuris, and As Kindred Spirits.
