Trish Malone, MA, LCSW-R, is a psychotherapist whose approach is informed by her training in psychosynthesis, the study of Buddhism, and a lifelong love of the arts.

For more than 10 years, she has worked intensively with crime victims, individuals with disabilities, and children in therapeutic foster care, as well as in private practice in upstate New York, helping them access their own creativity to serve as a mechanism for healing.

She focuses on the individual needs of her clients and uses a psychoeducational approach to help them learn skills to solve problems and to change behaviors. She also uses creative exercises, imagery, art, music, and stress-reduction to help people practice greater self-care and to reach their goals in life.
