Creatively share your story as a comic book, graphic novel, cartoon, or other form of sequential art, guided by comic book artist Chris O'Neal.

Chris O’Neal invites you to turn your stories into real-life comic books!

Are you interested in comics, graphic novels, cartoons and other forms of sequential art? Want to share your story in a creative way? Whether this is your first time making a comic book, or you want to refine your craft, let’s work together to translate our stories into comics.

Using a combination of researched storytelling techniques and artistic experiments, we explore what makes the art of the comic book unique. After reviewing the technical basics needed to create a professional comic book, you are encouraged to stretch yourself creatively.

Each student works on their own comic book and the class shares their printed creations, which you also take home.
