In Yoga Darshana, Kofi Busia leads us on an exploration of how to live a wise and fulfilled life through Iyengar Yoga as a physical and spiritual darshana (Sanskrit for view, or system), and as a way to be in the world.
Using postures (asanas) and breath control (pranayama), and learning to focus and develop the mind, we tap into both the practical and esoteric teachings of yoga that can dramatically improve the way we think and feel.
During the week, Kofi guides each of us as we study our body's capacities and limits, correcting our postures—with surgeon-like precision—to change our relationship to our body and how we approach yoga.
Yoga Darshana is for those already familiar with Iyengar Yoga. Yoga and fitness instructors, helping professionals, and anyone seeking to further their study will find this workshop useful.
