1 large frozen banana
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
1/2 tablespoon cacao nibs (optional)
1/2 tablespoon almond butter (or other nut or seed butter)
2-3 tablespoons coconut milk
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend on low to medium until a smooth ice cream-like consistency is formed (about 1 minute). Start with just enough coconut milk to mix and add a little more until you have your desired consistency. Enjoy immediately!
Topping Ideas: raspberries, strawberries, sprinkles, chocolate chips, chopped pecans or walnuts, hot fudge, vegan whipped cream
