In this fun, interactive class, 18-24 year-old participants will develop key characters and theatrical scenes for the Wednesday evening adventure game, all the while developing their skills as actors and directors. This workshop is designed to offer young adults a dynamic and engaging introduction to theater training while learning techniques for improving their self-confidence in a safe, playful, and community-centered environment. In fun and engaging exercises, participants will also connect with others through trust games and active listening, understanding "stage presence," and opening their imaginations to playing characters.
Because theater work is also life training, participants can expect to find new, deeper connections to others and their own creativity, unlocking profound layers of empathy through character exploration.
