Continuing Education Guidelines
Participation. To qualify for CE/CME credit, you must be registered in the workshop, have paid all fees in full, attended all sessions, and fully and actively participated in the program. You must pre-register for CE/CME credit; please be sure to include all related fees when you register.
Fees. There is a $35 fee for CE credit, unless stated otherwise in the course description. There will be an additional $35 fee for certificates that need to be reissued.
Procedures. To receive accreditation, at the end of the conference, you must complete and drop off your CE request form and session evaluation forms at the main office. Failure to submit all fees and paperwork at the conclusion of the workshop will disqualify you from receiving CE/CME credit. Forms are available in the Main Office as well as in the Omega Café.
Certificate of Attendance. There is a $30 fee for a Certificate of Attendance for a workshop that you have attended, unless stated otherwise in the course description. In six to eight weeks, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance. There will be an additional $30 fee for certificates that need to be reissued. This is not a Continuing Education Certificate.
The Institute for the Advancement of Human Behavior (IAHB) and Omega Institute have entered into a joint sponsorship agreement to provide quality educational activities that are available for professional continuing education credit.
IAHB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization located in Portola Valley, California. Its mission is to provide innovative, top quality continuing education and continuing medical education activities for professionals. The Institute's programs encompass a comprehensive and multidisciplinary array of educational activities in the form of workshops, conferences, multi-media home-study materials, and customized training programs. Except as otherwise noted, IAHB has been approved as a provider of continuing education and continuing medical education by the organizations listed. B Bodyworkers and Massage Therapists: IAHB is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider. Approved Provider #450111-06. All courses designated for bodyworkers and massage therapists have been approved or submitted to the NCBTMB for course approval. Please call Omega for current status.
C Certified Counselors: IAHB is an NBCC Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP™) and co-sponsor of this event/program. IAHB may award NBCC approved clock hours for events or programs that meet NBCC requirements. The ACEP maintains responsibility for the content of this event. (NBCC Provider #5216). The New Jersey State Board of Marriage and Family Therapy Examiners recognizes the NBCC for course approval.
F Fitness/Athletic Trainers: IAHB is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc., to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. According to the education levels described by the CEC Committee of the NATA, all education courses are designated to be Essential, Advanced, or Mastery Level. Indicated programs have been approved for Category A continuing education. Certified athletic trainers are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent participating in the CE activity.
