Lace Without Fear: Charts, Lifelines & Letting Light In
Build confidence in lace whether you knit or crochet. This class focuses on reading both written and charted lace instructions, placing lifelines or stitch markers, and learning how to identify and fix mistakes. You’ll work on a swatch in either knit or crochet to explore the movement, rhythm, and beauty of lace.
As we practice, we’ll reflect on the metaphor of lace—how openness and space in the fabric are what let the light in. The same is true in life. We’ll use quiet journaling to connect with moments where we’ve let something go, made room, or allowed clarity to shine through.
All necessary supplies for the shawl can be found in your Rhinebeck Fiber Spirit Retreat swag bag. Attendees are welcome to use their own yarn for the project.
WEDNESDAY: Mindfulness

Yoga for Makers
